33 Magic (not Needed, but Recommended)

The Dragon Slayer quest in runescape is probably the most difficult quest that free-to-play runescape players will have to complete. It was the hardest quest in runescape at one time but that was a few years ago and the game has gone through immense changes since.

Dragon Slayer Quest Requirements - 32 Quest points - Must be able to beat level 83 Dragon (I recommend at least lvl 50).


- Level 34 Smithing (or a friend who has 34 Smithing so they could create Steel Nails).


33 Magic (not necessary, but highly recommended).

1. Lobster Pot (buy at Fishing Store, in port sarim)


2. Unfired Bowl: (Use Water with Soft Clay and then get to the Potting Wheel and create the Bowl. Do not bake it!)


3. Sheet of Silk: (buy in Clothes Store in Varrock, or buy from Silk Merchant in Al-Kharid. Al-Kharid is cheaper.


4. Wizard Mind Bomb (buy at Pub in Falador)


5. Anti Dragon Breath Shield. It will be available during the quest.


6. Three Planks (find in the Skeleton Graveyard in Level 21 Wilderness)


7. 90 Steel Nails (One Steel Bar produces 15 nails You will require 6.  Rswiki.Net You must be Level 34 Smithing to create them.)


8. Hammer


9. 12K (12,000), GP (2K GP for the Boat 10K Gold Pieces for Wormbrain's bribe to buy his Map Piece. If you're playing Level 33 Magic, you don't need the additional 10,000.

The Dragon Slayer quest's objective is to collect map pieces that will enable you to reach the dragon. When you've completed the quest and reached the dragon, it is time to defeat it. A dragonfire shield will definitely be required for this fight.
